The Steering Group is established by The Nordic Council of Ministers Senior Officials for Food and consists of representatives for the NKMT working group. The Steering Group is authorised to make decisions concerning the overall management of the work towards developing new Nordic Nutrition Recommendations. The members of the Steering Group have specific competencies within the scope of the project. Decisions in the Steering Group are taken through consensus.
The chairman of NKMT chairs the Steering Group. A representative from The Nordic Council of Ministers Secretariat will participate in the Steering Group as needed.
Responsibilities
to advise on the direction and implementation of the project
to advise on the need of major changes in the overall budget
to monitor progress and ensure adherence to the project plan
to propose any budgetary adjustments necessary to achieve the successful outcome of the work to the Nordic Council of Ministers
to appoint and accept project group members
to ensure effective communication and dissemination within each of the participating institutions
to confirm the quality and acceptability of all deliverables
to end the project
