Nutrition recommendations - background and principles
The chapter on background and principles will be a part of the fifth edition of the Nordic nutrition recommendations (NNR) and gives the reasoning behind setting dietary reference values and describes the evidence based approach that has been adapted in the NNR5 project. The chapter was drafted by the NNR5 working group. The NNR5 reference group members gave valuable comments on earlier drafts of the chapter.
