Advance notice
Advance notice should be given in the web based system TRACES (TRA Control and Expert System). To be able to use TRACES, the organisation/company has so be registered in the system and they need a users account. Please contact the border inspection post if you need more information.
- Advance notice should be received via email or fax by 1:00 pm at the latest, on the day prior to arrival of the consignment at the border control post.
- All border inspection posts are closed during weekends.
- Advance notice for Arlanda Airport should be sent to the Stockholm border control post.
- Advance notice for Landvetter Airport should be sent to the Göteborg (Gothenburg) border control post.
For consignments for which no advance notice has been given, the following applies.
- A consignment for which no advance notice has been given, or for which advance notice was received late, does not have to be inspected until the day following receipt of the consignment or the advance notice.
Opening hours
All control posts conduct inspections between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday to Friday provided advance notice has been received according to the above.
